As we know, Geodesic Dome is the product which may lead to a change of the differents built enviroment scales.

For your information, our dome was a 3V geodesic dome.
Below is the scales of the geodesic dome that produced:

First, the objects to produce a component (geodesic dome):

The object is the bamboo sticks.

then, the interior was discovered upon assembly of the components:

We used the ragged cloth to make the dome colourful. It's also provide a good looking of the dome.

So, the building was the 3V geodesic dome:

Domes' Day

For your information, our domes' day was on 1oth september 2008.
The time was about 10am - 12pm. We assembled at the dewan kuliah E48B before the dome was making.

Below is the information about my group:

Group's Name : Green Paradise

Group's Members:

Chan Peik Yok ( Architecture)
Chiam Seow Lay ( Construction Management )
Lim Fang Yi ( Interior Designer )
Ong Wee Yeak (Architecture )

So, some of the pictures of the dome may be similar with my group members.Sorry...^.^

Motto : 1,2,3...green action!

Materials used : bamboo sticks, ragged cloth,...etc

Intention : We wanted to build a 3v dome.
So, we discussed and planned how to do it together.
And, we got the idea how to do it.Haha...

Actor : 5 of us were the actor who built this 3v dome.
I'm the guy who stood in the medium. We hold the materials on the domes' day.

Act : We cut the bamboos together by using the "parang".

Rule : Follow the rules of cikWan.
The connections were jointed by ragged cloth because it was zero cost and the bamboo too.

Site : It was located near the swimming pool which is the site of no. 25. This site was big enough for our dome to build.

Product: A 3v dome was built.
You can see how beauty of our 3v dome connect with ragged cloth.

Lastly, we built the 3V dome within 30 minutes as we predicted.
With the motto"1,2,3...green action", we successfully built a 3V dome.
Everytimes i also thought we can't built the 3V dome, but we really built it.
Can you imagine my feeling at that moments?
Ya, happy which i can describes.^.^Our domes' identity is colourful and giant size. It might be fit about 12 people.

Iatrogeny
It is popularly considered to be the result of treatment. This reasoning is neither false nor is it exhaustive. It was stated that iatrogeny is a result of an adverse effect which might be associated with either health - care workers or the health - care system generally. Unfavourable impact on patients' health can concern both psychological and physical condition. Therefore, the terms "iatropsychogeny" and "iatrosomatopathy" were distinguished. Iatrogenic effects accompanying medical experiments were considered specific and ethically justified ones, as far as they were carried out in precisely given conditions. They are regarded to be the price of progress in medicine. The health education of the society, versatile training of the medical staff and efficient health - care system are considered to be crucial to minimize iatrogenic influence on patients' health. Production
What is production?
The built environment is built and produced. So, production consists of six elements which are intention, act, product, actor, rule and site.
Intention>Act>Product>Actor>Rule>Site
1. Intention (aim, objective)
-to have intention, we must enrich ourselves with knowledge.
-to get knowledge, it’s involves listening and seeing.
-divide into 2 groups:
~explicit (something that can be expressed out)
~implicit (something that untold @not mention)
-no matter the intention is good @ bad
2. Act
-it’s either individually @ in group
-an action that take by an actor
-knowledge is a product for some acts
-some acts in built environment include designing, constructing, modelling and others

3. Product
-something that acts such as design, built @ destroy to the built environment on our site

4. Actor
-the person who determine the wrong @ right
-it’s includes professional like engineer, architect, quantity surveyor, interior design and others.

5. Rule
-it’s either in man-made @ natural
-most rules that we see are written down as law, custom, cultural and regulations
-determine whether the act that takes by the actor is wrong @ right

6. Site

-it’s on our earth (land, floor, table @ even a pieces of paper)

There are several ideologies, person who
• no right + no wrong = altruism
• no right + all wrong = cynicism
• everything right =relativism
• some right + some wrong = criticism
• must find for the truth = truth-seekerisme
• no need to look for the truth, just throw away the false = taoisme

I think it's quite complicated....haha..

Built Environment (From Wikipedia)

My own view about BuIlt EnViRoMeNt
-it is the environment about a site of building construction, no matter interior @ exterior.
-it also includes human activity to build a building
-the process also related like design, manage, ...etc

USM 37TH CONVOCATION 2008
FROM EVENT TO OVAL
13th-17th AUGUST 2008

For your information, this was the site of the USM 37th convocation 2008 which was the field behind the DTSP.

There were many tent in the field. One of the tent was the playground for kids.

The 'urusetia' of convex 2008 will help us if we face any problems in the convocation.

Even me, my friend was helped me took the picture. There were many gift behind me.

After the convocation, the worker came and removed the tents. There were the few step of the dismanting processes.

Lastly, all the sweet memories was gather around here.
The site was clear and clean.

Then, the ending of the convocation.
